The Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce held their annual Golf Tournament at Country View Golf Course in Chatham-Kent on June 8th, 2017. The event was attended by 65 golfers who enjoyed the beautiful weather while practicing their golf skills. After the round of golf, attendees sat down to a fantastic dinner of steak and baked potatoes, followed by dessert. Krista McGregor emceed the event and thanked those who sponsored and attended the tournament. In addition, Karen Debergh and Greg Davenport helped pull tickets for the many prizes won by participants.
This event could not have taken place without the continued support of the many individuals and companies who attend each year, the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce Golf Committee led by Krista McGregor and the amazing help of Tammy Chouinard, Chamber summer students, Denis Haslam and Kirsty Aldous who worked the check-in and Mulligan table, Chris Taylor who photographed the event, and Dr. Mark Dickerson for being this year’s Wine Sponsor.
