President’s Report
Carmen McGregor reported on the Executive Committee. Carmen attended the launch of the new 95.1 FM radio station on behalf of the Chamber. Carmen officially resigned as Chamber President as she will be running for council. There was a discussion regarding who would take over the role as President as Mike Hatfield will be moving. It was suggested to have Co-Presidents in the interim.
Committee Reports

- Special Events Committee: Chuck Ferris reported on the Special Events Committee. The Can’t Go South Party was an awesome event. Great prizes were given away as well as a donation to United Way. The next Business after Hours will be held at the St. Clair College Employment Centre on February 20. Most of the events have been booked for 2014.
- Marketing/Membership Committee: Ron Laroche and Karen Debergh reported on the Marketing/Membership Committee. Ron has been working on the Signage Program. The committee will be getting together to discuss multiple year advertising, which will give members a discount.
- Business Excellence Committee: Barb McCaughrin reported on the Business Excellence Committee. Everything is coming together nicely. Nomination deadline is February 28 and the committee still needs nominations. Ticket Cost has increased to $60.00. The event will be held at Baldoon Golf Club on April 24. Sponsors letters have gone out.
- Finance Committee: Matt Montague reported on the Finance Committee. Finances are looking good for this month. There are still outstanding receivables to come in. Year-end information is ready to be dropped off at Bailey Kearney Ferguson.
