Executive Report

Karen Debergh reported on the Executive Committee. Andrew Saya will be the Marketing/Membership Coordinator; working on a commission basis. Karen discussed Ron Laroche’s resignation from the Board and that the committee spoke with Andrew Jeffs and he will be sitting on the Executive.

 

Committee Reports

  • Finance Committee: Karen Debergh discussed the Financial Reports. At the end of the year the Chamber was better off than the previous year. Most of the over 90 day’s outstanding receivables have been paid. A question arose regarding the Accrued Liabilities; Tina to look into it.
  • Curling Bonspiel Committee: Karen Debergh discussed the Curling Bonspiel on February 28, 2015. A signup sheet will be going up at the Curling Club. If people don’t want to curl but would like to come out to the meal, the cost is $20.
  • Business Excellence Committee: Karen Debergh discussed the Business Excellence Gala being postponed until September or October. It was suggested having it in October for Small Business Month.

 

New Business

A suggestion was made to move the Board meetings to 3:30 pm on the Thursday before Business after Hours. An email will be going out to the directors.
