Highlights of the May 2013 Chamber Minutes
from President, Carmen McGregor
President’s Report
Carmen reported on the minutes of the Executive meeting (included in packages). Joe Mares attended the Executive meeting. He was requesting permission to call chamber members in a phone call campaign for the Chamber Group Insurance; which is being done all over the province. The Executive gave Joe the go ahead.
Meeting attendance was discussed and has been referred to by-law updates.
The remaining outstanding membership renewals have been sent a letter along with a copy of the invoice. It has come to the office’s attention that quite a few members did not receive their membership renewals electronically, hence the mail out. From now on, invoicing will be sent out by mail.
Treasurer’s Report
Matt Montague discussed the treasurer’s report (included in packages). Revenues are up from this time last year. The finances look pretty good.
