President’s Report

Carmen McGregor reported on the minutes of the Executive meeting (included in packages). The committee discussed the Financial Statements; which will be discussed during the In-Camera session.

Committee Reports

  • Special Events Committee: The Community Fair was held on October 3rd with 24 booths. There weren’t many in attendance. The committee needs to take a look at this for next year. The Halloween Party has been cancelled; but the committee discussed doing a “Can’t Go South” beach party towards the end of January.
  • Marketing/Membership Committee: Karen Debergh reported on the Marketing/Membership meeting. The Signage Program was discussed. Ron met with Randy at Mountain Shelter to discuss the cost to the having signs made. The more signs we have made the less the cost will be. Signage renewals have been coming in; follow-up calls will be made to those who haven’t responded. Ron has contacted those on the waiting list.
  • Nominations Committee: Ron Laroche reported that Bob Taylor and Gloria Tulp will be stepping down as directors. New directors will be Chuck Ferris, Nick Cadotte, Randy McNeil and someone from Debot Farms.


New Business

By-Law Review: Carmen and Ron have looked over the by-law changes that need to be presented at a meeting 30 days prior to the AGM. Amendments were included in packages.

Meeting moved to In-Camera Session at 4:30 PM.
